Bogaziçi University Chemistry Department is searching for candidates for a full time, tenure track faculty position in the at starting fall 2009. Bogazici University, where the teaching medium is in English, is one of the leading and prestigious universities in Turkey. Top 1% of all highschool graduates are accepted into the undergraduate program. The chemistry department has an active MS and PhD program.

The appointment is expected to be at the assistant professor level. A Ph.D. chemist with exceptional promise and further experience in research and teaching is sought. Special consideration will be given to those with research interests in inorganic, bioinorganic, inorganic material science and analytical chemistry. Candidates should submit transcripts, curriculum vitae, brief description of research plans and should arrange to have three letters of recommendation sent from people familiar with their capabilities in chemistry.
